Karate Tai Sabaki, more than meets the eyes

On July 7 2020, information filtered online affirming that some karatekas (all ladies) had been sexually harassed, held forcefully and even raped by leaders of the discipline in Cameroon. The federation's president Emmanuel Wakam was also accused. Intrigued, Clarisse Sih approached some of the ladies as well as coaches and the president to get their versions of happenings. The magazine first aired on July 23, 2020 and was put online on August 9. Two weeks after it first aired, the Minister of Sports and Physical Education suspended all accused persons after a commission of inquiry sent in their findings.
